The Verge Implements Google+ Sign-In

Popular technology culture and news website The Verge has today announced the launch of Google+ Sign-In integration into their app, website and sister sites.

This means that readers of The Verge can sign up by using their Google+ account all in a click of a button, the red "Sign in with Google" button to be exact.

The Verge is also making use of Google's innovative over-the-air install technology, asking new users if they'd like to install the official The Verge app onto their Android device when signed up (if accepted, the app will be downloaded to the users device automagically).

Users who have already signed up to the site can still link their account with Google+ by diving into the 'Third Party Login' settings.

The Verge is a beautifully designed website with well-written articles and slick videos, they're on top of their game as a news technology website and is personally one of my go-to sites for up to the minute news. Make sure to add +The Verge to your circles to get some of their goodness straight to the stream.

The launch has been well timed as the hotly anticipated Google I/O developer conference kicks off later today with a 3 hour keynote which we're live blogging here. Don't miss it!

Will you be connecting your account at The Verge with Google+?
