Google+ Pages receives new Dashboard with new insights

Lately, brands on Google+ have been receiving some extra goodies from the Google+ team including content recommendations for mobile websites and Google+ Sign-In. Today +Page managers are rejoicing because they've received another gift, a dashboard for Google+ Pages.

Google+ Page managers will see a new option in the navigation ribbon, "Dashboard." Dashboard is a new feature for Google+ Pages to make managing an online presence even easier across multiple Google products including Google+, AdWords, Maps, Search, and Offers all in one place.

Features for Everyone

Google+ Dashboard gives brands a place to update all of their information including their website's URL, address, phone number, store hours, etc. for Google+, Maps, and Search in one place. In addition, there's a progress bar at the top of the page that lets you know if you've completely filled out the most important sections of your +Page.

A Google+ Page Dashboard wouldn't be complete without some very specific Google+ features.
  • View all notifications
  • Share posts including photos, links, video
  • Start a Hangout with followers
  • Add and remove managers

Google+ Local Only Features

If you're managing a verified Google+ Local page, you're going to receive some extra special goodies in the form of insights into AdWords Express, Offers, and Google+ Page performance:
  • Overview of AdWords Express campaign results and easy access to manage it
  • Statistics from Google Offers campaigns
  • Analytics for top searches for your business and top areas requesting driving directions to your business (see below)

In her Google+ post announcing the update, +Pavni Diwanji made sure to tease us for more to come: "We've got lots more useful tools to add from all across Google, so stay tuned for more updates!" We should probably assume that all of Google's business services continue to integrate such as YouTube channel statistics and Google Analytics for website visits and actions from website visitors originating from Google+.

How do you like the new Google+ Dashboard, and what other Google services do you think will be integrated with it over time? Let us know in the comments below!
