Share your Location on Google+ using Maps for iOS

Google Maps for iOS can now share your location to your Google+ circles with today's update.

The Google Maps team has updated its iOS app today, adding location sharing via Google+. Using the share button within the app, users can attach their location along with text (optional, of course) and then share to specific circles to Google+.
Sharing a location is easy, thanks to Maps 2.2 for iOS
While this feature is not Google+ Locations, it is one step closer to Google's location sharing service. I suspect we will still have to wait until the Google+ team updates its G+ app for iOS before iPhone users get to enjoy the real deal (G+ Locations), which Android users have been enjoying since May.

If you've got an iOS device, make sure to update to Google Maps for iOS 2.2, available today in the App Store.
