Google+ Communities is improving discoverability with the ability to search for recommended communities without leaving the Home Stream.Google+ has recently improved its Communities card, a helpful feature which suggests communities based on your interests. The biggest improvement is the addition of a search box, which allows you to search for a community if the recommended ones didn't take your fancy.

Just like the main search bar at the top of Google+, it will start fetching results as you type. The card is dynamic in the way that it will automatically expand (or shrink) depending on the amount of results it brings up.

As always, communities you have been invited to join may appear on the card along with related results, and joining is as easy as hovering your cursor over the button.
