Mashable does a 12 hour Hangout-a-thon for charity

Google+ and Mashable have teamed up to do a 12-hour long Hangout event for charity, as part of #GivingTuesday.

So what's #GivingTuesday? It's a campaign by the charity +Giving Tuesday (of course), to create a national day of giving at the start of the annual holiday season. Sounds good to me.

 +Mashable's Hangout-a-thon for #GivingTuesday has a packed schedule with special guests, from musicians to those raising awareness of the charities they represent and other surprises.

What's unique about this special event is that viewers can choose and donate to a charity from the right-hand side of the Hangout On Air via the Event page.

When?

The event is already 6 hours in as we post, but there's still another 6 to tune in and give back. You can watch it below or via the official event page.
