Google+ April Fools: Introducing David Hasselhoff photobombs to Auto Awesome list

If you were on a first name basis with the Hoffmeister, you'd probably get some fun perks. Although Google+ might not be making that possible today, they are bringing a new Auto Awesome featuring David Hasselhoff photobombs in your pictures for some Google+ April Fools fun. That's pretty #Hoffsome, right?

The excellent news is we're getting the free gift of Google+ Auto Awesomes in the form of The Hoff sneaking into your uploaded photos. Now, you're probably thinking... "Cory, why would I believe you on April 1st?" Well, for starters I've included later in the article how to get Mr. Hasselhoff himself to show up in your pictures. For those true non-believers, there's also photo proof with Vic Gundotra himself!

To get The Hoff to photobomb you (as seen above), simply upload a new self portrait or group photo, and leave some room; he might just make a surprise appearance! Erik Murphy-Chutorian mentions there will be other celebrity additions in the future. Also, if you mention +David Hasselhoff, he might show up in your comments for even more fun! He's already been doing it on a few different posts.

In order to promote this new Auto Awesome, Google is giving it the Google.com homepage treatment (seen below). All visitors to Google.com will now see a new tagline under the search bar: "New! Google+ Photos, now automatically more #Hoffsome."

Of all the awesome pranks we've seen from our favorite search engine, this has got to be one of my favorites! What's your favorite April Fool's jokes from Google? What other celebrity photobombs do you want to see? We want to hear about them in the comments below!
