Pinterest gets Google+ Sign-In functionality for Pinners old and new

Pinterest, the pinboard-inspired social media website now lets you sign up and log in with your Google+ account.

The official announcement fittingly came in the way of a Google+ post (embed below) via the official, verified +Pinterest account.

Those who are already on the photo-sharing service are able to sign into Google in the account settings of the Android app. New users now have three choices when signing-up - Facebook login, email or Google. Unfortunately though, the latter isn't available on iOS devices or the website at this time, but we expect these to be updated in the coming days/weeks.
Four choices are available, but to us, there's really only one
The Google Sign-In permissions screen
Upon connecting your Google account to your Pinterest account, you are greeted with the usual permissions screen in which you can see what information Pinterest can access, but in this case it's your basic profile info and list of people in your circles. You can also choose (as standard) who can see that you've used Google+ sign-in to connect your Pinterest account, thanks to the circle/people picker.
