Google+ and Hangouts for iOS updated, bringing feature enhancements and bug fixes

It's a double update for iOS users: Google+ has been updated with new features and enhancements, and Hangouts has received a smattering of bug fixes and performance improvements.

Google+ 4.6.2

Community moderators can now pin (and unpin) posts in their community right from the Google+ app, thanks to the 4.6.2 update which was pushed out yesterday.

The What's Hot stream has also received some love, with users now being able to explore specific topics.

Lastly, those using Locations can now toggle location reporting and history settings directly from the Google+ app itself. No more heading back and forth to the iOS system settings.

Hangouts 2.0.1

After the massive user-facing changes to the Hangouts app last week, this end-of-the-week update to Hangouts is focused on polish.

The only item listed in the changelog is very brief: "Bugfixes and performance improvements". Although the 2.0 update added a significant boost in performance, it's good to know that the team are still working on further optimising the app for the best possible user experience.
