Desktop Hangouts Landing Page gets Updated (Again)

Google has added all the reasons why you should download Hangouts on the landing page, a month after swapping the old promotional banner for a fresh new one.

The infographic sits below the relatively new banner that was added last month and briefs potential new users on the 3 cores of Hangouts: Messaging, videos and voice.

There's not much to look at if you're a seasoned user, but it makes for a nice little refresher of the capabilities of the products. The updated page includes annotations in the form of animated GIFs, which is a nice touch.

The Hangouts On Air, Video Hangouts and People You Know cards are still there, just hiding below the mega-sized banners.
