Launching today, GPD Reader for Android gives you easy access to our articles on the go. Embracing material design and providing an optional dark theme, the app will look great on your phone day or night.
About the App
"But what about the new responsive site?" I hear you ask. Well, this is for those of you who just want to dig in to the content, with minimal thrills and no hassle - that's why we named it GPD Reader. That's not to say that it doesn't have super-smooth animations as you navigate the app though.
Night Mode
The app by default has a light theme, but if you have nocturnal tendencies like myself, your eyes will appreciate the dark theme, or "night mode" as I like to call it. You can enable it by tapping Menu > Settings.
GPD Reader does include advertisements at the bottom of articles but there is an optional in-app purchase for those who wish to remove them, and it's around the price of a bottle of milk. Bargain!
