Google+ for Android Updated with New Icon

Google+ on the web got a branding update last week, the rollout continues this week for those rocking Android devices.

The icon is still very much red, but is now round with a new uppercase 'G' and new font. Not radically different, but it looks fresh. The notification icon has also been updated to go with the new circular theme that's hot at Google right now.

We've took a look at v6.3 to see what else is new but we're not spotting anything major, so we expect the usual slew of bug fixes and behind-the-scenes polish.
