We first received word from our own Google+ Updates community that the in-development History API that developers could access from the navigation ribbon has vanished.
Whether the API has been scrapped or not remains to be seen, but we may more likely see a full release in the very near future, or in a few months time when Google I/O 2013 kicks off.
As +Alex Ander first reported in our community, even going to http://plus.google.com/history takes you to a 404 error page, where it would previously take you to the History API. The Google History developers page is still accessible (for now) but as far as I know, developers building upon the API have not received word that a pending release for end user is imminent.
So what do you think readers? Has the History API been scrapped?
