[How To] Share a Free Song Play via Google Play Music

One of the benefits of being on Google+ is the ability to share a free song or album play to your circles via Google Play Music. Of course, you'd have to be in a Country where Play Music is available, so if you are, please do read on!

In order to be able to share a full song, you have to have purchased the track through the +Google Play Store. If you haven't purchased it through Google Play, you may still be able to share the song as a sample with a link to purchase (depending on whether it is available on Google Play or not). Also, I should note that only people who are in your circles will be eligible for one free play.

On the web

Getting started, go to play.google.com/music to view your music library. If you haven't tried Play Music yet, you can browse and purchase music via the store here.

Simply find the album and select that or the song you'd like to share by rolling your cursor over and clicking on the arrow which will appear to the right of the selection.
Rather send the music video? Just hit the "Share YouTube video" button instead
Type a message, pick the people and/or circles you'd like to share the free play with and hit the green share button.
Once done, your post should have a built-in music player, allowing the people you've shared it with to listen to the song or album (see my post for an example). The player is also supported in the Google+ app for Android too, so your circles can listen to it on-the-go too!

On your Android

Sharing a free play is just as easy on your +Android device as it is on the web, just select a song or album and tap the share button. Once you've typed a message and selected the people and/or circles you'd like to share it with, just hit the Share button again. Simples!
Write a little message and hit "Share" again
Open up the context menu and hit "Share"
