New-Look Hits the Hovercard, Adds Buttons for Faster Contacting

Along with the new profile and page user interface revamp earlier on today, the ever useful hovercards also got some treatment in the looks department.

The new-look hovercard now has a slightly fatter appearance, with the profile photo in the centre of the cover photo. Apart from the visual changes, there are some functionality changes too.

This reminds us of the need to update our cover photo...

You can now quickly and easily hangout, email or chat with the person via buttons on the hovercard. Depending on the privacy settings of the user, you may or not see some or all of the messaging buttons.

We do think they should just add one unified messaging button though...
