Google+ Sign-In Integrated with Google Search

Today on the +Google+ Developers blog it has been announced that apps using the recently announced Google+ Sign In API will have some of their app activity shown in +Google search results.
The announcement, which can be found here explains that this will be rolling out slowly starting with a few music and movie apps such as +Deezer+Fandango+Flixster+Slacker+Songza+SoundCloud, and +TuneIn.

Google+ API in Google Search
Current look versus with app activities.
The activity shown will be based on the most popular content that is being accessed. However, in the future this could branch out into more things - such as showing the high-scores for a game. Hopefully this added benefit of using Google+ Sign In will begin to encourage a lot more developers to implement it into their apps.

Do you think these changes will encourage developers to make use of the Google+ Sign In API? Let us know in the comments below!
