If you're an active Google+ Gamer, you may like to be notified whenever someone sends you an invitation to help a friend or receive an item in-game, but if it isn't your thing, you can turn off these notifications from appearing in the Google Bar.
Thankfully, Google has made it really easy to do too! Get rid of those pesky game notifications in one click by going to your Google+ Settings by clicking on the gear icon and clicking "Settings", via your account switcher or by typing in the URL in the address bar (google.com/settings/plus).

Scroll down, past the notifications, +1 and pages settings and you'll see the Google+ Games subheader. To enable or disable the notifications, just check or uncheck where it says "Show Google+ games notifications in the Google bar."
