With a recent update to the Google Earth app for Android, a new (and yes, private) map layer has been added which now shows any geocoded photos you have uploaded to Google+.
This past week has been a big one for Google+ Photos. First there was the announcement of the
+Google+ Photos of new
Google+ Photos swag that users could win, and then there was the restoring some Google+ Photos editing functionality that was previously absent. Now, Google has added the first integration of Google+ Photos and Google Earth in a recent update to the Google Earth for Android app.

Google+ Photos option in the Google Earth app |
Available under the “More Maps” section of the Google Earth app menu, the aptly-named “Google+ Photos” layer shows thumbnails of your pictures placed on the locations where they were taken. Of course, this is only applicable if you have geo-location turned on when you take photos.

List of Google+ photo albums |
As you can see in the image above, the pictures are separated by your Google+ photo albums. Auto backuped up photos are seperated from those uploaded directly to Google+.
You can even tap to view these photos right inside the Google Earth app, as shown below. Never fear - the map is only visible to you, and not the public.

Thumbnails of your photos appear over the places they were taken. |
