The Hangouts app for Android has been updated with more fixes for SMS and MMS sending/receiving.Unfortunately, nothing major has been added in this release, but the usual bug squashing is present, with the latest release focusing on terminating a couple of SMS and MMS critters.

What hasn't been mentioned in the official changelog is a new button present in the settings which allows the user to toggle the reporting of user data used to help improve Hangouts.
The minor update is currently rolling out on the Google Play Store which could take a few days, though I can't imagine many scrambling to get their hands on this particular version.
