Google+ for iOS updated to 4.7, bringing Stories and a massively improved photo editor

The Google+ app for iOS has been updated, catching up with its Android counterpart by adding Google+ Stories and big improvements to the photo editor.

Google+ Stories, a feature which automatically combines your photos, videos and the places you visit into interactive travelogues was introduced a couple of weeks ago, debuting in a freshly updated Android app and on the web. On the day Stories launched, word was out that the feature would be making its way to iOS "soon"; Fast forward a few weeks later and version 4.7 of Google+ is released to the Apple App Store.

Stories isn't the only big new feature implemented in the latest release, the photo editor has been brought up to feature parity with Android with a Snapseed-esque experience and all the bells and whistles that go along with it. For those that aren't in the know, this means new filters (drama, retrolux, HDR etc) and other creative tools to aid you in making your snaps pixel-perfect. My favourite feature is being able to edit a photo on one device, and carry on where I left off from another.

Also in this version is the addition of total content views on profiles and pages, a feature which was added in April on the web and Android just weeks ago. Other than that, expect the usual flurry of bug fixes and performance enhancements for good measure.
