Google+ 5.7 Desaturates the FAB and Removes Auto Backup Settings

Google+ 5.7 for Android is here and... It's another minor one, folks. Now defunct Google+ Photos Auto Backup settings have been removed, as well as some other small tweaks here and there.

The FAB is a red button which allows you to quickly create and share a new post from most places in the app. In this release, the button has been turned grey when viewing a Google+ Community, it's still red everywhere else though.

Since launching Google Photos, officially separating the service from Google+, the old Google+ Photos Auto Backup settings stuck around longer than they should have. 5.7 gives the redundant settings the old boot, clearing up any potential confusion to those still thinking Google+ Photos is a thing.

Other tweaks such as a loading spinner when viewing a profile polishes the experience a little, and a bug which caused an animated profile photo to display incorrectly has been fixed. Other than that, expect a couple of other squashed bugs and the usual slew of performance tune-ups.
