Share Box and Link to Google+ Profile Removed from Top Toolbar

The share box and link to your Google+ profile has been removed from the top toolbar across all of Google's services.

Since the launch of Google+ in 2011, there has been a convenient link to your Google+ profile in the form of your username (e.g. +Lee) and a button which when clicked will bring up the share box, so you can post to the service from the comfort of any Google product you're using. This was handy for many people, as sharing to Google+ was always just a tap away.
Old: See +Lee and share box button
New: You can still access Google+ from the grid menu
The move isn't entirely surprising, Google+ features have been disappearing one by one over the last few weeks. But even so, this isn't a mark of death for the platform - It is a new, bold direction and an incredibly exciting time for Google+ (see launch of Collections).

You can still access your profile from the toolbar, and it only takes an extra step. Just tap on your profile photo > Profile. And although sharing isn't as convenient anymore, you can access G+ via the grid menu and the share box is at the top of your stream.

Did you use the share button from the toolbar?
